School of Fine Arts
The School of Fine Arts (SoFA) is a resource for children and adults in Hot Springs and the surrounding area. The school
exists to generally promote the fine arts, and more specifically, to train Christians to use their gifts for the Lord.
The school offers:
*Play Piano in a Flash classes (for adults)
*Private Piano instruction (for ages 6 and up)
*Beginning String Class for children (ages 7-12)
*Beginning String Class for youth and adults
*Private Violin, Viola, or Cello instruction
*Private Guitar instruction
*Private Voice instruction
*Private Percussion instruction
The SoFA utilizes qualified instructors from the Hot Springs and Little Rock area. All classes as well as private instruction take place
at the First Baptist Church facility. The School operates on a trimester system (Fall, Spring, Summer). Students are welcomed
to take instruction in all or just one trimester during the year.
Rates are as follows per trimester:
Play Piano in a Flash - $220
Private instrumental instruction - $320
Class instruction (strings) - $260
